Victoria Ogundipe – Peters
Partner
Victoria has over two decades of experience garnered in active legal practice and in-house counsel roles. She is a graduate of Nigeria’s premier university – the University of Ibadan and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2002. She holds membership and affiliation with many professional bodies. Victoria heads our Corporate Law, Foreign Investment and Estate/Succession Planning practice teams and is a member of our Business/Commercial Transactions and Technology Law practice teams.
Obiora Ezike
Partner
Obiora holds an LLB from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, an LLM in Corporate and Financial Law and a PhD, both from the University of Glasgow. He was awarded the prize for the most outstanding student in the LLM programme and obtained a scholarship for his PhD studies. Obiora is currently a Lecturer at the University of Glasgow with numerous publications in international journals and advises on corporate, commercial and financial law matters
Maduka Onwukeme
Founding Partner
Maduka obtained his LLB from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in 2011 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2012. After an initial accomplished stint at Chief Rotimi Williams’ Chambers Lagos, he successfully founded ELIX LP in January 2017. Maduka is a member of the Intellectual Property Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria (IPLAN), Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIARB) UK, Lagos Court of Arbitration (LCA), Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria (CITN), NBA Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) and Associate Member, Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates (SCMA) UK. He heads the firm’s Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, ICT, Taxation, Healthcare and Business/Commercial Transactions practice teams
Onize Onwukeme
Managing Partner
Onize holds an LLB in European and International Law (2008) from the University of the West of England, Bristol and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2012. She further holds an MSc in Management and International Business (2017) from Birmingham City University. Onize has offered her legal and administrative skills to businesses in the Emergency and Rescue service, Educational and Financial service sectors, in addition to years spent in active legal practice. Besides managing the firm, she is actively involved in commercial transactions documentation and is a member of the Estate/Succession Planning, Healthcare, Intellectual Property, Taxation and ICT practice teams.
Obiageli Saxena
Senior Associate
Obiageli is a law graduate of the University of Ibadan and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2012. She is currently running an LLM programme at the University of Lagos and holds a Certificate from the Nigerian Institute of Management. She brings dual-fold experience from the public sector at the Ministry of Justice as well as private sector via law firms and an international shipping and maritime company. She heads the firm’s Shipping/Maritime and Carriage of Goods as well as Company Secretarial/Regulatory Compliance practice teams. She is a member of the Corporate Law, Finance & Capital Market teams and Foreign Investment practice teams.
Joseph Okusare
Senior Associate
Joseph is a law graduate of the University of Abuja and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015. He brings a diverse and modern outlook on legal practice and change management from his experience in fintech, digital marketing, content development and artistic cinematography. He is an integral member of our ICT, Taxation and Intellectual Property practice teams.
Titilope Anifowoshe
Associate
Titilope holds an LLB from the University of Ilorin, an Executive MBA from Lagos Business School, an MA in NGO Management from UNIABUJA and is currently pursuing an MSc in Information Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2018. She brings extensive knowledge in legal research, NGO management and policy strategy to ELIX LP.

Onyeama obtained his LLB from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2018. Onyeama’s half-decade-old expertise and experience cut across various areas of law. He is a member of our Dispute Resolution, Energy as well as Shipping/Maritime and Carriage of Goods practice teams.
